ODENSE, DENMARK – FEBRUARY 21ST 2018 PTR Robots is happy to announce the recruitment of Péter Nagy. Péter joins the product development team that designs and builds the patient lifting and rehabilitation robots, PLUMA. His work tasks will include prototype assembly, prototype tests, and development and design of human machine interface (HMI), among other things.
The goal of PTR’s innovative patient lifting solution is to perform gentle and effortless transfers of patients without the use of fixed ceiling mounted lifts. In addition, the versatile and flexible design of the robot enables the integration of countless new features for rehabilitation and combined reha-transfer applications. In order to make the new technology as easy as possible to use by clinical staff, it is of paramount importance to develop the most intuitive human machine interface.
As a student at the Lillebaelt Academy in Denmark (EAL), Péter co-developed the human-machine interface of the PLUMA robot in close collaboration with the Multi Tower R&D team. He holds an AP Degree in IT Technology and a BA Top-up in Product Development and Integrative Technology from EAL, where he developed his knowledge in electronics and product development.
